Admission- How it Works: From all of us at Engage In Palestine, we thank you for applying to volunteer, intern, or study Arabic in the city of Hebron, West Bank, Palestine. We are looking forward to welcoming you into our family. Our outstanding team will do all possible to ensure that you have a enjoyable and memorable stay.
As an international volunteer, intern, or Arabic student at Engage In Palestine you will be able to enjoy many exciting opportunities when you arrive in Palestine. All of our programs are designed to allow you to engage fully with the Palestinian culture, forge strong relationships, and challenge yourself.
As a volunteer, intern, or Arabic student, you will be making important contributions to the Palestinian community. While embracing a new lifestyle, you will also be meeting plenty of new people (both Palestinians and other internationals). You will have the opportunity to learn a new language, and be able to work alongside the local Palestinians and refugees from in and around the city of Hebron.

When can I start?
Engage In Palestine accepts applications and participants all year round, usually for one week to three months in duration. You can freely choose your starting and ending dates. At Engage In Palestine we offer three main programs: Arabic language classes, the internship programs, Arabic online courses and the volunteer programs.
Who can Apply?
Our programs are open to all whether you be students, undergraduates, English native speakers or non-native speakers, graduates, professionals, professors, workers, families, solo travellers, researchers, or are retired. You must be 18+ years old to participate.
Steps to Getting Started in our programs:
- Choose which program you are interested in.
- Email us requesting an application, listing the name of your desired program.
- We will send you the application. You will fill it out and send it back to us.

After we receive your application:
- We review the application with our team (this usually takes a week)
- You may be invited to short talk on a Skype call, Zoom or Whatsapp to give you more information and answer all of the questions.
Selections process
- We will send you an acceptance letter and a program contract.
- Sign the contract and send it back to us.
- Pay the fees online.
- You are ready to come to Hebron, Palestine and join our Engage In Palestine family.
Before Arrival to Palestine:
Engage In Palestine will introduce you to our family and staff. If you are interested, you could also meet virtually other participants who will be at the center at the same time as you. For participants staying with a Palestinian host family, we can also introduce them to you before arrival.
If it is needed, Engage In Palestine team will be more than happy to organize a Skype or Whatsapp call to discuss travel instructions to Hebron, answer any questions and provide more information.
